I can't see a problem with it.The Aussies have done it for years and as soon as they get some back they go squealing to the press. The best way to answer it is by winning which they did in the first test.Other than that they should keep their gobs shut.

Beny, you seem to have rose tinted glassed where your side are concerned!
I can't believe you're holding Australia up to be these whiter-than-white characters who play completely within the spirit of the game.

Just one example - bowling legal balls which unfortunately hit the opposing batsmen are within the spirit of the game. Calling someone who comes to the wicket a ******* **** is not.
England are "guilty" of the former, as are Australia. I believe Shane Warne is guilty of the latter.
Perhaps not in this game, but in the countless others tests.

I've never heard of it... I've heard something like that was leveled as an accusation but I understand it was unfounded.

Unfounded?

I saw a documentary on Warne captaining Hants back in 2001, and it was something he called his teammates for fun in the dressing room!

What?

Well if it's in that context e.g not being used in an offensive manner then there is nothing wrong with it. I struggle to belive it though. If he did then he needs a kick up the ****.

It is a game, yes! But part of the game is to knock the opposing captain's head off with a legal ball. If Ponting wants some sympathy next time he'd better duck the short ones and not attempt a poorly timed stroke.
Do you remember Pieterson being knocked off his feet by a full toss from Lee that hit him just above the knee, then claiming to the umpire that it was a "beamer"? well,to me,a beamer is a ball that is aimed at the head, where the brains are, hmmm, maybe it was a beamer!!!
