I can't believe you're holding Australia up to be these whiter-than-white characters who play completely within the spirit of the game.

Just one example - bowling legal balls which unfortunately hit the opposing batsmen are within the spirit of the game. Calling someone who comes to the wicket a ******* **** is not.
England are "guilty" of the former, as are Australia. I believe Shane Warne is guilty of the latter.
Perhaps not in this game, but in the countless others tests.

It is a game, yes! But part of the game is to knock the opposing captain's head off with a legal ball. If Ponting wants some sympathy next time he'd better duck the short ones and not attempt a poorly timed stroke.
