Best got what he deserved! He didn't look too comfortable being surrounded by fielders and deserved to have the micky taken out of him after the amount of rubbish he shouted when he was bowling. That was well in the spirit of the game, and quite funny to watch.

I am surprised some of you talk about Tino Best in this way.

Best was always going to try and hit that ball regardless of what Flintoff said.because Best is crazy!!!

Whatever Tino Best said to Vaughan, he did so because he is crazy!!

Tell me what type of person could bowl all those beamers after a warning.

If you call his phone and get the message, you will be kindly asked to leave a message for the "best bowler in the world!"

But at least he keeps trying so go easy with him, Lemming.

Best had a reputation in the Shropshire League when he played for Madeley. There were 2 incidents when he was hit for a boundary and then bowled a beamer next ball. Not a nice man.

My nomination is Englands Simon Jones for his over the top direct hit of Hayden in the one-dayers. Sure Hayden can throw his mouth around but as the saying goes "....names will never hurt me". Jones was setting an ordinary, unneccesary and dangerous example to younger, less skillful players, who won't be accurate enough to throw the ball past another junior batsmens ear. Was he reprimanded in any way?

Ganguly.

Arrogant, slow overs, appeals against legitimate bans, generally dislikeable bloke...

Harmison?! He's the nicest bloke you could ever wish to meet. Allegedly.

Went for Murali for the simple reason of his refusal to play Cricket against Australia due to the fact it was an Australian umpire that reported him for chucking. Reminded me of a child picking up his bat and ball and going home when he does not get his own way. He also stated the Australian crowd where chanting chucker at him - I am sure he got a lot worse from the Barmy Army.

Although he is not playing anymore I would rate him as the worst in cricket since I have been watching - Ranatunga, what made it worse was the fact he was the captain.

What all of you have said is all well and good but how many actually fit the description of what was asked to start the thread i.e. players who go out there playing to win with no other goal in mind??

I could sit here all day listing out the people I dislike who are playing cricket but I can't bother channeling so much negative energy

Absolutely agree. Ganguly first daylight second. Huge disruptive influence and India would be much better of without him.

Weasly? He's one of the fittest blokes in world cricket ...

Agree that Harmison should'nt be there although I dont think McGrath should be either.

I went for Shoaib 'Prima Dona' Akhtar
