| If you look at all of them, they are all (bar harmison) pretty unpleasant to a greater or lesser extent. Mcgrath is my pet favourite of the month, because he's got something that anoys me. Cant put my finger on it. What I can out my finger on is that they are all quality players of the highest order (maybe not nel or harmioson quite yet) so maybe the two go hand in hand. Which brings me back to harmison, perhaps he would be a better player if he did get in peoples faces ? I think he's TOO nice to be honest. Look at Ambrose (who a few on here want him to be like) he almost had a wicket before he started to bowl - incredibly scary chap ! Smith I hate as well, but like it or not he's a winner. He's galvanised a Somerset team to do pretty well at the moment. He's certainly the sort of player(like mcgrath too I guess) that you'd love to have on your team and hate to play against. Nels i dont like or respect and he doesnt have half the class of mcgrath. i dont like mcgrath either but you have to respect the fact he's got 500 wickets which nel hasnt got and probably wont get.

| He was banned for slow over rates - again. He's a repeat offender, and keeps getting his punishment reduced or eliminated on appeal. Sets a brilliant example, doesn't it? If it was the captain of any other nation, they wouldn't have got a reduction. Mind you, they probably wouldn't have had the bare faced cheek to appeal in the first place when caught so obviously bang to rights - but that's Jagmohin Dalmiya for you. |
