Hayden's surely the epitome of flat track bullies: if he doesn't find some form here it's his own damn fault!

No, he is not the epitome of a flat track bully.

Flintoff is far close to that than Hayden.

I know Hayden probably doesn't fit in with how you feel "cricket should be played" but give the guy at least some credit.

Rach, he made his comeback to test cricket in the searing heat and dusty pitch conditions that are India... He's scored runs all around the world.

Agree with you Beny.I would call Hayden a lot of things but not a flat track bully.

And dead tracks where most pitches offer bowlers no assistance on the first three days, except Mohali (for seamers on Day 1) and Bombay etc (for spinners, throughout). The sort of pitches were most batsmen can, and do, score heavily.

Tough conditions Maranello, spinners loved it and India dont have a lack of quality spinners.

I don't quite understand how he can find much form, at the time of this post Hayden had loast his wicket the first ball he faced.

I agree with you Rachael. Hayden has a great eye and is really strong, he can hit a ball very hard and as a result does bully the opposition, but only if they let him. I think he's not all that technically perfect and disciplined bowling can get at him and give him a hard time.
