Pietersen, Flintoff & Jones need to knuckle down here and post a minimum of 350.

1 1/2 sessions into this thing and you all want to clear the decks of the english team. This isn't a sprint it's a test of concentration over a large length of time. bukle down learn the pitch when batting and wait to see what comes to you. Trescothick showed how quickly you can score when you wait for the right ball, they do come to you ( especially on a dead pitch like this). How will your king of spain do on the fifth day? He could be your saviour

Yes, I agree completely. This has got nothing to do with Australia, (apart from Warne/Strauss) Tresco and Bell were lame, and Vaughan, what can you say. He looked in good touch, a dreadful mistake. Their current score is shocking considering the conditions and the great start. As I said a sec ago, after Bell went we should have been playing "sensibly", just solid, batting time and hitting the bad balls. The Aussie seamers have not earn't any of their wickets, just loose shots

What do you mean? In my honest opinion Flintoff's looking the most accomplished player of spin I've seen for a long time!

Little bit worried about Pietersen. Although hitting it well, he's looking just a little bit in one day mode at the moment, hope he doesn't throw it away...

Me too, however on a pitch like this i think he can potentially push the innings on from this mini-crisis, and i think we need a minimum of 350.

I'm worried about both Pietersen and Flintoff. They're cuffing it at the moment and it's enjoyable to watch, but 240-6 will not look very clever at all if this goes wrong. With Warne bowling, one can't help but think it's a matter of time before this pair get themselves out playing like this.

Quite: is Flintoff going to learn from the let off which Kaspa just gave him?

Flintoff needs to stop this hook shot. It's not good.
