If he has it, i would just put it back in my kitbag for another day.
What a display of attacking batsmanship. I am an Aussie and usually don't like seeing them flayed around but these two guys - top shelf. I should be in bed but will stay up as long as the big shots go on. Awesome

Well played Flintoff and Pietersen... Flintoff is definetly riding his luck and a half! But as long as hes getting the job done... Better than him playing defensively, not his normal game, up to like 10 runs and then trying a big hit, mis hitting it and getting out. Pietersen is playing attacking but he hasn't looked in trouble so long may it continue. G Jone has an important innings ahead of him and I hope the tail can wag a little bit!

Oh yeah, another point!!

Our batsmen have to stick around for at least 3 sessions I reckon, because the pitch is doing NOTHING nad I can't see us getting all 10 wickets of the Aussies.. Although they might be encouraged to play quickly and get themselves out. Lets hope so!

Has anything been said about why Giles was picked rather than Collingwood? I am only following on here and BBC internet.

It's how Flintoff plays Tres, not luck really he hits the ball hard, that's why he he nakes his own luck.

Only his second Test against Australia, so I guess they know his power now, and the anticipated partnership woth Pietersen has happened.

Not to be forgot after one of the best opening partnerships for an age of years, Bell did not look the part (no improvement on key), and Vaughan only made 20 odd.

Middle order has functioned because unlike Lords, Tres and Strauss gave England a start.
Hope they can put another 70 or so runs on between them.

We are scoring at a phenominal rate. What other bowling options has Ponting got in his XI?
