All the clambering to promote jones over Flintoff to 6, a good start ruined.

Who would have thought it (apart from me). England are in trouble after being in a seemingly impregnable position at lunch. They are still 150 runs short of a decent first innings total on a good batting track. Up to Petersen to try to save there asses again now. Never write off the Aussies.

Don't think you're the only one. We've seen this sort of thing many a time, Seamer.

Hmmm... seems perhaps there is the occasional something in this pitch after all. Was hoping Jones would nudge and nurdle for a bit and keep Kevin Pietersen company and get up to 350ish, that would take some pressure off of the tail. Still think 400 would be a respectable total to defend if our seamers put a bit of effort in.

Could still get near 350-400 CD, Pietersen still there, and Giles "can" hang arround a bit.

Been out for a while, come back, Flintoff gone, Jones just gone - to a good ball. Didn't see Flintoff's...?

300 for 6 on this pitch, mostly out to silly shots. We've been here so many times, why? What is it about the English mentality being so self destructive?

If we can score at this rate, what on earth are the Aussies going to do on here...

Warnie's showing dissent now at lbw decisions not given against Giles. How about a match ban for the next Test at Old Trafford???
