Tell Me Its True!!!

Both BBC and Sky are reporting that Glenn McGrath has been injured in warm up - does anyone know any more details? This could be hugely significant if its a serious injury.

Interesting report from cric-info:

http://content.cricinfo.com/engvaus/...ry/214933.html

It truns out we probably don't actually want McGrath injured. Also if Trescothick can continue his average here we should have a very very interesting test!!

About time we had some luck against them with all the injuries we have had over the years.

Good morning all....thought I'd drop in this morning as we await the start of the 2nd test match to say hi!

I haven't been around this past week because I'm rather unwell at the moment, and I'm about to go for some urgent dental surgary, so probably won't be around much until the next test match. I shall be back ASAP!!!
I hope England have a good match and get a win!!

Hopefully England's luck will now improve. They lost the toss, and Ponting has invited us to bat first.

Aussies win the toss and will bowl, for my money England need to come out all guns blazing and really push home the advantage McGrath's injury has given them.

I still worry as the ball may well swing about a lot this morning, however at least there is no McGrath to exploit it to its fullest

Interesting that Michael Vaughan, a veteran of the lost toss, never seems to be dissatisfied with the opposing captain's choice. "We would have batted if we'd won the toss anyway," so he says. Strange on an overcast day, surely.
