In the Seventies we relied on our pace attack - Lillie and Thomson. In the Eighties we sucked and where rebuilding. In the nineties we had the structure to be dominate with 4 bowlers and a good batting line up and have continued that into the 2000's (Naughties). I think when you have a good batting line up, and good quality bowling the need for an all rounder is not needed. |
