I don't think we can be too disgruntled with Englands bowling at the moment, Australia are not picking up runs easily, and the runs are coming slowly

but certainly, a couple of wickets now would be great, as the commentator said, it would be good to go in to tea after taking 5-6 wickets, leaving the tailenders to come to the aid of the Aussies

I'm feeling quite confident about this 2nd test

Fifty to Langer best innings of the match so far.
I agree Jones spell wasn't very impressive.

Yes, it will be interesting to see if they follow through on the Ritual Hari-Kari idea suggested by the convict press.

Contrary to this, and the opinion already proffered by Terry Alderman, I can't see the Aussies doing any such thing. Actually, the ball that got Clarke was a decent one, and Punter was out playing a needless stroke.

Key partnership at the moment - this one and the next one. Katich and Langer should be able to grind out big runs on this pitch. A good partnership from these two may give Gilly a licence to unleash a few big shots.

Edit: As soon as I press 'Post' Katich edges a good ball behind. In comes Gilly....
