We need to win the final session for a change.Australia specialise in doing that but if we win it today then the game could be there for the taking.

Good point Greg, channel 4 have just shown how Langer and Gilchrist have a good record when partnering each other at the crease.

If we can quickly remove one or both of them quickly we may well be looking at a lead of over 100. No quick removal might mean parity or worse before too long.

Hmm, Gilchrist and Langer are looking just a bit too comfortable for me. Jones has no-where near the control that Flintoff around the wicket, although Giles has bowled quite well I think. If Jones starts going for a few, I reckon try Harmison.
Makes me wonder about Hoggard's place again, I dont think he's got anything to offer on this pitch.

Hoggard is a new ball man and after that he's a waste of space.

Langer gone to a cracking ball from Jones. Hawkeye seems to show that the ball would have hit the outside half of leg stump and Langer didn't look at all impressed with the decision, but in real time it really did look out.

Good innings Langer.
Warne's in should be fireworks.

Jones is bowling beautifully. Flintoff just dropped Lee although it was a tough one. Just got to keep it back of a length for Lee, mustn't give him anything full. Gilchrist may decide it's time to start blasting soon...!

The new ball man bowled four overs, one for twenty-six at Edgbaston and eight overs naught for fifty or something at Lords. Don't know what his opening spell was...

...needless to say, I think he's a waste of space even when he opens the bowling. English conditions bowler who can't bowl in English conditions... what good is that?

Sod all. If it was always the case you know what you'd be getting, but in SA, where there wasnt alot for the traditional english seamer i thought he did rather well. Since coming back to blighty he's been about as much use as a chocolate teapot.
