| Looks like a possible England lead of 100, or not far away. All the bowlers have bowled well, Gillcrist still there 8/284

| Think I'd give Giles a rest now and try Harmison on Gillespie for 3 or 4 overs, nice aggresive field setting and see what happens. |

I think jones needs to tempt Gillespie outside that off stump, I dont think that yorkers or lbw is the way to go. |

| Harmison time Yes you'd've thought the "master" tactician that is Michael "the master tactician" Vaughan would have thought about putting on Steve "tail remover" Harmison... Clearly not.

| Aus, 308 all out. Although some of the batsmen got themselves out like England, I think there was also some very good bowling by us. Now, the key here is firstly, dont lose a wicket tonight, but then, dont let Australia get us out for a low total so that they can chase a modest score down with plenty of time left. That sounds very pessimistic but I have seen England victories like that over the last 18 months... |

| This is a very nasty little session for us. I'm pretty sure that Warne will be on at some point, the rough that Giles was using is now going to be helping Warne... |

| I agree this is a nasty session to bat, but if England can come through unscathed with a lead of around 150ish It would be a great platform to put the Aussie bowlers to the sword tomorrow and bat Oz out of the game. (he says as Trescothick nearly gets run out...) |
