| Jones out with a flyer from Lee - I wonder if Harmison is smiling now seeing the ball do that? |

| The Langer decision was not in the same league as Pietersen's. He was playing close to the stumps to a ball that was swinging in. Hawkeye showed it was out. Can't have too many complaints about that, and he didn't have too many complaints about it. Pietersen's decision on the other hand was atrocious. Even if it had hit the glove it shouldn't have been given out because there were so many noises. |

| I will come back to this discussion at a less intense moment. I am against all bad decisions.

| You can complain about the bad decsions all you like, the point is they happen and on the scoreboard its recorded as out. There are more times this test match and last one where players where given out when not and players who should have been given out where not. In all the English players have been received the most favourable judgement from the umpires than Australia. And Pieterson has had more 50-50 calls go in his favour than anyone. |

Also, and I'm almost certainly being biased here, but I didn't think they should even have appealed for the Pietersen decision - it didn't look to have gone anywhere near either bat or glove.

i don't think you can blame the Aussies for appealing, as im 99.9% sure that England would have done the same thing if it was say Gilchrist batting Don't forget Pietersen is a huge player for us and the Aussies just wanted him out before he could cause any damage to them, so .. as they say in the fosters advert 'You Can't blame 'em'

| What a comeback from Australia. Some wonderful bowling by both Lee and Warne and Australia have clawed their way back into the game after being down and out at the end of Day 2. But whatever target they are set (something around 250, probably), it won't be easy to bat as the conditions are helpful for both the quicks and spinners. On the other hand, Australia will most probably have loads of time to reach the target. Ian Bell was unfortunate to be given out but I thought that the snickometer showed that KP was indeed out.
