No. I don't believe anyone on here has ever claimed that. Anyone would think that this Australian team is the greatest to ever walk the earth the way you lot bang on though!

The optimism exhibited by the Australians is the worse sort, they think they are going to be number one in the world forever!

He sounds Mancunian enough to me....

But what is wrong with that? Its a globalised world, where we have relatively free movement of capital, goods and labour - doctors, academics and scientists all emigrate to countries where their talents will be best nourished; why should aspiring cricketers be any different?

In any case, the English should be pleased that they have a country which welcomes such people and does not lock them up or send away their boats; they should be proud that cricketeres from all over the world, born in places as diverse as Papua New Guinea, Australia and South Africa, want to leave their natural habitat and call England their home.

We've never had a Sri Lankan to my knowledge either! We are a Test playing World XI aren't we?

That really is very boring, and childish, Davo.

Good to see some hard work by our guys this morning, and now some good positive strokes. Like you guys said, it would be dreadfully disappointing if the rain forces this match to a draw.
