I am so happy Gillespie is playing again because he is bowling tripe.Like playing against a 3 man attack.

No, we are playing the world XI in sydney later in the year because we have been the best side in the world for the last 5-10 years and havent been an embarassing rabble like England have!

Guys - Davo, English Al, Phantom Ram - can you take that discussion somewhere else please and get off this thread. This thread is for comments regarding today's play at Old Trafford. Thanks.

Now we know what it is like to have Simon Jones, Hoggard, DeFraites, Malcolm and Cork getting flogged all over the park!

If "aussie" jones can get runs on this wicket then im tipping Mcgrath to notch up his maiden test century.

To get back on the thread's topic, Andrew Flintoff and Geraint Jones are turning their this innings and hence the match well in England's favour. They are regularly picking off singles and hitting fours.

Bad Lemming!! Flintoff's just got himself out, I've put the mockers on their partnership.

I would be great to see Giles stick around for a while, and eventually see Jones end a good 75*. Jones needs to trust Giles for now and always have the view to 'Be there at the end!' as Benaud would say.

Why did Flintoff do that? He's got Gillespie bowling tripe at the other end, runs coming quick enough.....yet another England batsman leaving his brain in the dressing room.
