Bangladesh vs Australia,2nd Test

The second test match between Bangladesh and Australia begins on Sunday at Chittagong.

Australia already have an unbeatable 1-0 lead in the series with Ricky Ponting in great form with 5 centuries one month.Bangladesh performed well in the first test and will look to square the series in the next match.

I think they have a very good chance, their confidence will be sky high and it will be an exciting match.

I fully expect the Australians to win comfortably after recieving the rollocking of their lives from the management despite winning the first test.

I expect Australia to be really up for the second test match and fully expect them to win it more comfortably. However, if Bangladesh can keep up with the Aussies for 2/3 days like they did in the first test then this series will have been as successful as any in my eyes.

No wonder Jason Gillespie is doing so well, he has cut his hair

Looks like he gets the same thing as Steve Harmison: http://www.world-a-team.com/showthread.php?t=5324

Maybe they will be up for it but the pitch is not going to help them, you saw the Aussies almost giving their all in the run chase as they know defeat will be a diseaster but still they lost 7 wickets in 270 runs. The 2nd test is going to be very interesting.

Australia will take this one seriously. They came dangerously close to losing the first test. Really, Bangladesh needed just three more wickets when Australia needed more than 30 runs. A few low bounce deliveries and Australia was done. That must have been a shock to Australia, especially after those inappropriate comments from Ponting.

This time Australia will make sure that they destroy the Bangladeshis completely. But some of their batsmen still look uncomfortable on the subcontinent pitch. They didnt perform very well in either of their innings. Dont forget that Bangladesh has absolutely nothing to lose and Australia has everything to lose.

They lost their last 4 wickets for 1 run in the 2nd innings (Bangladesh). They have to improve their tail's batting.

In my opinion, Australia will win the 2nd test match inside 3 days.

On the first 2/3 days of the first test match, Australians were totally out of sorts and that was the main reason why Bangldesh had the upper hand.

Inside three days????????!!!!!!!!!!! I think the aussies were not out of their sorts, they are the no.1 team in the world by a long way and no matter what they say about being tired or not used to the conditions I think it is Ban who made things happen, a car cannot move without a driver, Bangladesh produced things and at the end of the day even if Ban lose they will give the Aussies the fright of their lives.

Australia, if they took any part of the first test slack will certainly pull up their socks in this game, they got shown that the Bangladesh side can keep up with them and I can assure you. Australia will not want Bangladesh to be in the game at all.
