All time great catches...

The BBC Sport Website is using the recent Collingwood catch as an excuse to run through some all-time-great catches: see http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/5181666.stm

Does anyone remember Mark Taylor's catch at 1st slip when he fell backwards and spilt the ball? Somehow he managed to kick the ball up and catch it at the second attempt.

Mark Taylor catching Carl Hooper for 57 off Bevan

Australia v West Indies, The Frank Worrell Trophy, 2nd Test, Sydney Cricket Ground , 29 November - 3 December 1996

This is one of my favourite catches. Matthew Sinclair gets Matthew Hayden with a stunner on the boundary.

Has anyone got the video of Jonty RHodes' double-handed catch against England? I'd love to see that one again.

Best catch of all time, imo, though it aint on YouTube, was my catch for the 4th XI this year. In the wet, fielding at mid off, the blokes hit it hard but it was pretty far over me. I've decided to do the leap of faith, and probably haven't got that high in my whole life. Flung myself back and held on to it!

Seriously though, John Dyson's "Goalkeeper" catch would be hard to go past wouldn't it?

Tendulkar running round the boundary on his first tour of England took a stunning one handed catch in front of him. Also remember Ramprakash taking a stunner against South Africa which may have been at Headingley in 98.
