| What happen to Inzamam-ul-Haq if he's found guilty?

| I think it's possibly an eight match ban. Ironic, stopping someone who wouldn't play cricket from playing cricket.

| If he's found guilty, no doubt he'll be banned for a number of games and be out of Test cricket for some time. At least, that is how I read it. |

| If he is declared innocent of ball tampering, either now, or on appeal (if there is one), what moral basis would there be for sanctions on the forfeit? Logically, the forfeit would never have happened had there been no ball tampering accusation. So if that accusation is indeed unfounded, would it be fair to impose penalties for the forfeit, or should he be able to argue that he was provoked by what he perceived was the bias of an official? Of course, if he is indeed proven (in a fair and transparent process) to be guilty of ball tampering, throw the book at him by all means - the full 8 matches.

| This is taking an interesting ans very serious turn. If the umpires/authorities produce valid proof of Inzamam's guilt, Pakistan will completely lose face. They have gone far too ahread and to be proved wrong now will be a big blow. I dont know for how many matches ICC will ban him, but PCB will probably sack him. And if he is really guilty, he should quit international cricket. Pakistani cricket has been in controversies all the time and but if Inzamam is proved guilty, I think this will be the worst of them all. However, if the umpires fail to prove it, I wonder what ICC will do. Either ways, this incident will be remembered as a shameful moment in the history of the game.
