Tresco coming home

Just heard on the news that Tresco is coming home.

Thanks for the memories Tresco but you are now a liability and your international career should be over.I hope he gets better but he is too big a risk for the future.

What a messer. He's let everyone down here, he made a big mistake saying he'd be ready for the Ashes when he announced he wasn't going to India.

The big question now is who gets called up to replace him?

I guess Rob Key should be called up as he has experience of Australia and can open the batting.

Yes Collingwood will play now but i was thinking we need an opener to come into the squad as we only have 2 left now.Key can also bat in the middle order so he is flexible.

Put it another way i wouldn't want Bell opening should Cook or Strauss get injured/ill.

pretty sad though that it had to happen like this. What Englishman would not be heartbroken at missing a chance to open for his country in the ASHES!

Whatever the reason this is a big blow to Englands attempt to retain the Ashes, not unlike the Thorpe situation, he has been a good servant for England, he should be should by now...

It was Simon jones and Flintoff injured on Englands last tour to Australia, Trescothick this time, it puts a lot of pressure on Cook.
