| Don't worry, Ern: you can't see anything from inside the Gabba except the pitch. Now - I can't get TMS here as the BBC is only webcasting to the UK. The ABC has worldwide webcasting rights and made a big thing about it a while ago. But I've just trawled all over their website to find a link to the webstream and it's jolly well hidden! So - important question: has anyone found it yet? And, if so, please could you let me know where the heck it is. I'm in serious danger of missing the whole day, notwithstanding my plan to get up early-ish tomorrow. (Definitely will miss the start as that is at 0100 Prague time, but could well get in some of the afternoon session before heading for the office tomorrow, always assuming that the webcast link shows up somewhere.)

| Toss What time is the toss is it 11:30 UK time ? |
| | |||
| 11:30pm. I expect England to play Giles and Australia to play Clarke. Whoever wins the toss will bat. I hope its England. |
| ||||
| So Clark and Giles it is then.Poor selections by both sides in my opinion. |

| Selections Well Giles in, what a shocker a few dozen overs and a couple of innings in 12 months. I hope we do ok but I think we have the wrong captain wrong keeper and wrong spinner hope im wrong |

| Is'nt this the way to start the most anticipated cricket series of all time? By both teams picking the most unimaginative line-ups they can think of.

| Sides Neither Side wants to loose this one looking at the selections. Dont think the icc trophy did either side any good preparing for the test series both sets of players not played much 1st class cricket for a while |

| I'm just amazed by the spinning hope of England being dropped for Mr. Ordinary. I can understand taking Clark ahead of Johnson, even if it is disapointing.

| Interesting choices from both camps; clearly going for the safety first approach. England's choice isn't as surprising as Australia's. England are bound to be cautious considering they on tour but Australia, playing at home, should have gone all out attack and Clark might not be too useful if he doesn't get bowling whilst the ball is still moving about.
