New Year's Resolutions

Hi everybody. I've started a thread so that everyone can commit to a New Year's Resolution. Simply saying you're going to do something to yourself is never enough, why not tell the rest of the forum about it. Then - if any interesting resolutions pop up, we can keep a tab on them for the year.

So here goes; my New Year's Resolution is to give up both chocolate and crisps!!

(When I say chocolate I mean the actual stuff, not chocolate flavoured things like ice-cream and milk-shake for example. Is that cheating?)

I solemnly swear to stick by this resolution.

Lemming

Won't happen.

You'll be eating chocolate and crisps again by late January.

New Years Resolutions are just daft, you just end up causing unnecessary disapointment upon yourself.

Don't underestimate the willpower of Lemming, Rob. Crisps are rubbish foods - no human needs them.* I mean, who's ever heard of a crispoholic? - and I once gave up chocolate for four months during my A-levels (note that I had already planned it to be for that period of time, I didn't give up.)

I see this as a challenge Rob, and I'm now up for it more then ever after your little comment.

I'm now off to stuff myself with Galaxy, Quavers and cheesy Wotzits, oh! and a few Cadbury's flakes (ummm! only the crumbliest, flakiest chocolate, tastes like chocolate never tasted before!) before the midnight deadline!

Wish me luck everybody!!!

*Crisps are rubbish due to being high in fat. BUT, they are low in protein and low in fibre, so they're not all that bad, kids!

I think i have finally finished every single exam I will ever have to do! Maybe?!?! I hope so anyway. I used to enjoy exams, but by the end of my degree I was just completely sick of them.

Good Luck with your revision and with your exams Waseem, I'm sure you will do some revision.

Keep It Up

Well done keep it up. Someday I just might meet you in a cricket match. Pakistan vs. england . Cricket is a very good active sport and I am trying very hard to make the domestic team for Pakistan. Me I am a allrounder more of a batsman and a fast medium bowler.
