isn't this another endless poll?

i think its because of all the newer members posting more polls, sometimes it is a smart poll, other times, well it doesn't really make much sense or have much value...

I've voted "No", Greg, even though there are loads in which I don't vote. Isn't the answer just to ignore the ones that don't interest you?

Oh, is that what it was? It does demonstrate one of the limitations of e-communication, I guess: sometimes a reader really has no idea of the mind-set of the writer. The lack of the visual element of communication is the problem - there's a reminder there for all of us.

I'll laugh in a moment, Greg! (Incidentally, I've seen your smiley in the title now - but I did overlook it earlier, so even they are not a guarantee!) Have a smile on me!

I think that Polls can create discussion on further topics which is better than not having them at all.

I'm declining to vote due to my exhaustion at the sheer numbers of polls I have to read.

Talking

TTFC, I think I know just the cure for you - how about a poll titled: "Are you suffering from poll-exhaustion?"

On a serious note, I like polls, but there have been quite a lot started recently where the poster has created a poll, then another poll, then another poll and does not seem to have made any contribution to the enfolding debate..

I don't think there is anything wrong with that, I just find it odd, as does Rob....

Polls are fine by me. It's another way of starting a discussion.
