Getting to Know You

In the spirit of TTFC's recent post about everyone's age, here's another fun thread where you can ask other members questions that you've always wanted to know the answer to. I'll start the ball rolling. Remember, your questions should be addressed to a specific member, not everybody. Once you've answered a question directed to you, feel free to ask one or some of your own.

Ok then...

1. To VRock - You say you support 90% of English FC teams on your profile. Who are the 10% you don't support?

2. To Beny - I'd always assumed your name was... Beny... you've said it isn't... what is it?

3. To Paoli - You're an Aussie who's lived in Zimbabwe with a distinctly Italian name... What's your heritage?

4. To TTFC - What's your highest batting score and bowling return?

5. To Alison - There's a picture of you graduating on your profile. What were you graduating in?

That should be a decent start. So, over to you!

Leicestershire and Northants. I don't hate them in a major way I just don't like them that much.

(Technically it should be 11.1%...18/2*100 for all in the know) - although this figure may increase as this season progresses. It is more likely to be 50% by the end of this season, when I really find the teams I truly like. (Only got SKY SPORTS last year so got FC coverage).

Italian. My dad was born over there, my mum's parents were but she was born over here.

That's all I suppose. My dad is from Ascoli, whose Serie A team by the way has done remarkably to stay up, and do it well in 10th spot despite not having spent a cent in their promotion off season, and my mother's from Sicily- Catania, to be exact. The way it's going I'll have to ditch Inter next season...Catania are second in Serie B!

If I could move the ball along- Andy, what's your real name?

(18/2)*100 = 900

(2/18)*100 = 11.11

.....for all in the know.

I got it right on my calculator...

Sadly my maths brain doesn't work in the same way for some reason when I write down division sums. Don't ask me why, because I don't know.

Thanks Lemming for pointing the error of my unintentional ways.

Well, as it happens, my real name is actually Andy - the Mellon bit certainly isn't my name though!

Here's another question. This one goes out to.... hmmm.... Ninjaman... What's your favourite drink?

I graduated with an MA in Theology from Exeter, I've also got a BA in the same subject, but the photo is from my MA graduation.

I have another question for Alison:

Alison, what does the message on your signature mean and what language is it written in?

Lemming

My current one means "you will have pain, but your pain will turn into joy." it's from John 16:20, and it's in greek.

I might be being a little stupid, but there are no Greek characters there!?!

That isn't how the Greeks would write it themselves, is it? I suppose they could use both Greek and Latin (is that right?) characters.
