What are your top 5 cricket brands?

Ok every person has brand that they like over others, please also say which gear you have in the brands.
  1. Grey Nicholls - Bat - Thigh pad - Shoes
  2. Newbery - Gloves - (I love Newbery's gloves)
  3. Kookaburra - Pads - (Don't like the bats but the rest of the gear are awesome)
  4. Willow Wizard - I don't own any Wizard stuff - (good allround company)
  5. Albion - Helmet - (Best helmets in the world)
Im not really a fan of the sub continent gear, I just don't think that the quality of the products are as good and the English and Australian made stuff. I do like the sub continent bats but nothing else.

Well my cricket gear is bought purely on the basis of how cheap it is, so that's how I judge stuff.

1. Gunn & Moore - helmet (They've got a funny twiddly bit at the back to tighten it securely round your head)
2. Kookaburra - bat (It's got a pretty meaty middle, perfect for smashing first-ball catches to mid-off...)
3. Fearnley - pads (ahh, £8 in a sale a year ago, and they're still in one piece! And they remind me of Botham...)
4 & 5. Anything else reasonably cheap!

Heres my top 5 brands;

1.Slazenger bat, gloves & thigh pad.
2.Grey Nicholls - quality gear but dont currently own any.
3.Woodworm - a team mate has all of their gear, good stuff.
4.Newberry - pads lightweight but well padded lasted 3 seasons now.
5.Albion - Helmet, a quality item mines lasted 12 years , but needs replaced now (been kicked across changing room once too often ).

The only brand i dont rate is kookaburra, as everyone i know who has owned one of their bats has snapped it through the middle!

Kookaburra bats seem to have a bad habit of that everyone I know that has had one has snapped as well, the only people I know that have bought one and it hasn’t snapped is the carbon backed ones. Fearnley are awesome as well they seem to be really good quality stuff and I also like the Newbery Uzi bat, light and compact but with a massive kick to it. I guess thats why its called an Uzi
