Oh well thats my first game of the season played - and lost .

Opened the batting and lasted 3 balls before hitting a leg stump half volley to square leg . At least I bowled better and got a wicket with my second ball . But it was hard work today can hardly move now, I hope i'll have recovered in time for next week. Then I'll have to go through it all again!

How did everyone else get on??

Isn't it always the way, you try to punish the bad ball and get out to it! Like the time I got a juicy half-volley outside off first up... and smacked it straight down mid-off's throat for my second consecutive golden.

My first game (selection pending of course) isn't until May 6th, a jolly trip to the most grotty ground in Kent. Put it this way, it's next door to two prisons.
