| I am new to the boards and i don't know much about cricket (compared to pretty much all of you!) So to get me started with cricket knowledge, i want you to post in reply a fun and random fact about cricket. Thankyou Jules |

| Cricket is a bat and ball game. |

| Complete with stumps and bails/bales (You know i mean!) |

| "bails". Apparently people have been killed by cricket balls but I don't know how many.

| 11 players per side. |

| An interesting Cricket stat about me. My first ever game for an under 13 side produced the following quirk, Opening the Batting I was dismissed First ball for a duck in my first ever innings (It kept low I kept telling everyone!). Then when it was our turn to field I was brought on first change and took a wicket with my first ball ever bowled. Ok it will never be found in any Wisden but it is an interesting debut and I hope an interesting little tale. |

| Here's an interesting fact: Andrew Flintoff, playing for England against the West Indies, was nearly caught out by his dad! (you'll have to find the rest out for yourself!)

| What you said made more sense to me than the BBC article did... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/funn...me/3939959.stm |
