Worst Haircut in cricket

This was going to be a poll but there so many candidates its too hard to work out. My runner up is Andersons skin head - very daft in 90 degree heat. Asking for sunstroke - is that why he bowled so many wides ? My winner is ....

Kevin "Mighty Mullet" Peitersen : Quite acceptable in 1987 Kev, not now.

Jason Gillespie is exempt because (judging by his over-all appearance) he is homless and sleeps on a park bench so a decent haircut would mean little to him.

Go on then, we'll leave him in.

I used to like one of Anderson's hairstyles, especially the one with blond streaks, but then he changed it to red, and looked horrible. Now he's looks ok. Not that bad I would say. Pieterson too is way lot better than some of the Aussies, some one needs to tell them how wierd they look in those mullets..Dizzy, Freak (which is Ian Harvey BTW) and Clarke - all of them need to go to the hairdresser's now. Gillespie is the worst actually, if I was playing against him I'd refuse to bat saying his hair was a constant distraction to my concentration. I'd tell the scorers to right I was absent "scared" (of this hair i.e.)

Dizzy of the past.........Dizzy today

If you're discounting him then Sami would be my other nomination

This is a slightly older picture and hence you can't see the read streaks in there, but take my word, he look's a complete freak. Will be much better off triming down on the length and dieing it back to black

I don't like to harp back to the good old days, but no one could accuse Brian Close of having a lousy haircut.

Personally I can't stand shaven heads, men with their heads shaved look like thugs!

Very true alison. Iwas the first player in our side to have a skin head, back in the day, to come across as a thug as I was a poor bowler and not very hard.

Very unsuccessful.

I don't think bald always looks bad, Lou Vincent got his head shaved off last year, much to my surprise I thought he looked just as nice without the hair as with it.
