OK, I am an ever widening military medium (to slow) inswing bowler and defensive (nay strokeless) bat. You will find a picture of one of my elegant legside steers on my Public Profile. In my defence, it was a horrid damp day on a slow, slow and low wicket in deepest darkest Wiltshire... I made 35 opening the batting - my highest score in about five years.
I do possess a ball that offers to swing the other way, briefly, just before swinging in. And I also have one that is just conceivably slower (if it is possible) than my stock ball.

If the conditions are right (they haven't been since I was about thirty-five) I am unplayable.

I am an excellent fine leg (such a useful position) and I too have aspirations toward the England captain's job.
No, no I mean, the club, the club.

I think however, that job has rather passed me by.

I was a so so off spinner at school, could be good, against weak opposition, had an action not unlike Murali, I am a right hander in all matters(no sniggers TTFC or Oliver), but I could bowl slow left arm, almost as good.
In two years of playing I never scored a run, 50% of the time I could not hit the ball and was bowled, the other 50% the ball hit the bat, and was always caught.
Not one run in my life.

2nd XI. With a few good performances I could work my way into the 1st XI with some good performances as opening bat and garbage spinning!!!

More or less, someone has to drop out for me to come in!!

BDW, Scott Woz hasnt made an appearance for a while...Was it since he got a temporary ban he didnt want to return??

Calm down Bevo, the team has been picked based on numbers of posts made to the forum rather than any ability!! Mind you, with the number of posts you make, you could well make the next game that's played.

Oooooh - get you Beny!! Getting a bit twitchy surrounded by the prime of English WAT manhood? (And womanhood before anyone complains!) Anyway, what are you complaining about - you've got a Pakistani, an honoury Dutchman and the man from the Czech Republic in your side, far more multicultural than any Aussie side! (Apart from any team with 'Funky' Miller in it - he was from Mars!)
