I had a girlfiend who was unable to understand my dissappearing on saturday afternoons, only to come back about 9pm sweaty and smelling of beer. "I'm not going to end up a cricket wife doing sandwiches for all your sad mates" which after that comment, she didnt but did instead become a foundation for my new patio.

That's a bit harsh don't you think, considering your lady friend is probably saying all that because of your sake, excessive drikning is severely dangerous, and can lead to all kinds of nasty diseases.

Ah Zainub, every man must decide what his own version of 'excessive' is. For me it is when the sleepy-time fairy comes and taps me on the head. For many small men, it is when they want to start fighting the biggest man in the room, and for many uglies it is when they decide their aura of sexual magnetism is irresistable to the hatstand in the corner of the room, and they start making indecent advances on it.

Girlfriends do understand this, and many of them want us to get drunk to improve the level of conversation. I of course, obey everything my beloved tells me, and never go past my 1/2 pint limit. Perhaps a mixture of fresh fruit juice and alchol would be the way forward?
