| Well making lassi is really easy, you don't need to go to a resturant to get it. I've got an aversion for yogurt that's why I don't drink it but I make it all the time at home for my sisters. It's relatively simple. Just get some yougurt (about 1 cup) , sugar or salt (yes, you can have it salty too) (to your taste but I put about 3 tea spoons) and 3/4 cup of cold water - blend this is all at high speed using your processor, and then add about 2 and half cups of milk - blend again wildly. Now take a class, put some finely crushed ice in it, and pour our the mixture. Easy as it gets! To make mango/banana lassi instead, substitue the milk with mango/banana pure (banana and mango lassi can only be served sweet) |

| There was something else I need a blender for the other day, so maybe I'll go and buy one! Thanks for the recipe, Zainub: I'll give that a go during the summer. I prefer it sweet myself and can't stand bananas, so it's pretty straightforward for me.

Also, she occasionally turns out for Sway if they are a player short. In fact, I was playing for Sway 1sts against Bournemouth III on Sunday, and they had one of the Bournemouth ladies playing for them. Hopefully, this will be more common place in years to come as there's some decent female players out there. |

| If anybody is interested in a saltier and spicier version, try adding ginger powder, raw mango powder,a pinch of line juice and a little red chilli powder.I know it does defy the intended effect of lassi to 'cool the body' but it does taste great.Over here in India, there are a lot more takers for salted lassi than the sweeter one.Plus milk is optional.Ofcourse, usually while travelling in trains and in local ships,we get the milkless lassi, only curds, salt and the spices. However, for reasons that I can't comprehend, it is called Buttermilk. |

| Even though it is not quite tropical here today, I have tried Zainub's lassi recipe. It is the business! Thanks, Zainub - and give it a try, folks!
