Andy Flower is not playing under a Kolpak agreement. I think he has a UK passport - therefore, he doesn't count as foreign or Kolpak.

Similarly with Murray Goodwin who's at Sussex.

Hmm. Fair play about Murray. Its not what I've heard - but to be honest, I only really follow Essex closely where there has been a lot of debate about Andy. He may well by a Zimbo by birth, but I think he's given up on there; and I don't think he'd be welcomed back. He certainly doesn't count as a foreigner and isn't under a Kolpak. Still, really this is arguing over the details. In terms of Zimbos playing in England, he does count; but then does Graeme Hick? Born in Harare, but did a Pietersen to play international cricket for England. We could keep on splitting hairs, but I think people get the idea now

Well we do, but elaborating on the Idea Andy, Flower played 65 tests for Zimbabwe. He left with a clear conscience if nothing else, and although he has left, which I found completely appropriate and still do, he hasn't turned his back as such, rather left as a consequence of his actions. Yes my question was a bit silly then, one could argue it should've read "How many Zimbabwean internationals are playing CC this year"

Enough said, they count as Zimbabweans because they played test cricket for them

If Murray Goodwin plays as a foreigner then which of Mushtaq Ahmed and Johannes Van der Wath (temporarily signed until Naved-ul-Hussain turns up) is playing as a non-foreigner?
