3) Who is Don Van Vliet better known as?
4) Which band did an album called 'Camembert Electrique?' Why?
5) Who made an album called 'things may come and things may go but the art school dance goes on forever' and What's the link to Cream?
6) What links David Bowie and 'do wah diddy diddy (there she was just a walking down the street)'
7) What links Frank Zappa and Ansley Dunbar?
8) Which band found unusual things in Grannie's greenhouse?
9)Which album(s) is/are 'and all the seats were occupied' by Aphrodite's child on?

I'm so sorry Jenko, I don't know any of these - alhough I think Robert Fripp was in King Crimson? Can you go a bit more mainstream?

No change there, but I think it's great he's back in it - almost makes it watchable!!! He's like the umltimate panto villian!! Can't sing, though - probably the worse record ever by a soap star, apart from that one Nick berry did when he was in Eastenders 'every loser wins'!!

Mental as Anything - biggest (in fact only u.k) hit was Living up, which reached number 3 in feb 1987!

O.k - does anyone know the connection between Cillia Black and the Righteous Brother?

Not really my speciality, but without looking at reference material:

(1) Giles, Giles and Fripp released one album called the Cheerful Insanity of Giles, Giles and Fripp in 1968 or 69
(2) never even heard of Keef Hartley. I'll guess that Talk Talk lead singer Mark Hollis had been involved with whoever or whatever Keef Hartley is at some point
(3) Captain Beefheart
(4) Some psychedelic rock band perchance?
(5) I'll have a guess - Alex Korner's Blues Incorporated. Cream drummer Ginger Baker was in them...
(6) Well, Doo Wah Diddy Diddy was a hit for Manfred Mann. I know that Manfred Mann was a fake name - his real name was Manfred Lubovitz. David Bowie also had a stage name - his real name was David Jones. There's a link for you... Alternatively, Doo Wah Diddy Diddy was written by the Exciters - was Bowie in them?
(7)Ansley Dunbar was a member of Zappa's mothers of invention as I recall. And he also played on some of his solo stuff. In fact, i think Dunbar first teamed up with Zappa on the album Chungos Revenge or Return... Something like that.
(8) Some other psychodelic rockers?
(9) Hmmm. All i know about Aphrodite's Child is that Demis Roussos and Vangelis (of chariots of fire fame) were in them
(10) My way - don't know what french song was originally. I do know that Sinatra, Elvis, the Sex Pistols, Shane MacGowan and Dorothy Squires all covered it though.

How'd i do then, Jenko?
