1) Hmmm. Not sure on this one...
2) Hmmm. Not sure I understand the question... Due to the bible links, I'll go for Genesis as Peter Gabriel was their original lead singer.
3) I'm guessing the Beatles.
4) Turandot? The sports event Italia '90 (Football World Cup)
5) Antonio Vivaldi (not Nigel Kennedy!!!)
6) Now then, now then... Rattle rattle, jewellery, jewellery.... Jimmy Saville?
7) Kung Fu Fighting (wu chop!!)
8) T'Pau
9) John Peel
10) At least 2... Virgin and EMI... Though I think A&M might have been sniffing.... So, I'll say 3 for now.

Oh, I thought question 3 was asking which group or artist - not asking for both. Well, as the biggest selling artist is Elvis, it has to be him - especially after his recent re-hits!

For 2... Mint sauce, eh? I''m thinking Lamb now... There is a band called Lamb... there's also one called Lambchop... They aren't exactly mainstream though!!

Do you know, I've never liked Lamb Chops. An utterly pointless cut of meat in my opinion.

Hurray.
Lamb did indeed produce 'angel gabriel' And lamb chops are rather bad cuts of meat; You need about 10 for a meal and then spend 3 weeks brushing your teeth to get the bits stuck in your teeth out.

Elvis has had 18 no. 1's and the beatles 17. Any guesses for 3rd?

Fluff freeman cohosted with jimmy saville

Someone else think of questions now!!

2) Which follically challenged moody pop legend played piano for Marc Bolan & T-rex
3) Who is Queen's new lead singer
4) Name Genesis's 3 lead singers
5) Why did the Housemartins get rid of their 1st drummer
6) What is 'Turning Japanese' by The Vapors about
