If is this guy Chirs Adams is such a girl pants as all of you see he is, why he is playing in the first place? That bbc report says he's actually played for England as well.

Okay....Warnie is a saint on the cricket field, give him a sainthood for that...But the way he treated Matty Prior is disappointing, but I guess can be called for, I've been sledged before, "Your living on Borrowed time mate", "He cant play the short stuff", and went on to make a 75.

More or less, he gave a player a fair bit of cheek and unless it gets too personal, I wouldn't encourage it but I guess thats Warnie.

He's a decent county pro, and because of englands revolving door policy in the 90s he was always going to get a game, and at that time rightly so.

Warne will be good for the county scene and will toughen up and instill a new culture in county cricket. England has to toughen up. Think back to the days of T.Grieg, Botham, Willis ect. They were certainly no gentlemen and partook in a lot of "verballing" eg Grieg to Hookes in the centenary test "Your too young to play test cricket you baby-faced b*stard". That was when England was last a power in world cricket. It is the way we play cricket down here and helps to create mentally tough cricketers - or at least sorts the chaff from the wheat. Adams is obviosly the chaff.

Warne's got previous on things like this, last year, he got reported by the umpires for a slanging match with Ronnie Irani at the Rose Bowl. Allegedly, Warne called Irani a "son of a whore" which is a bit beyond sledging. However, the difference between Irani and Adams is that Irani denyed that Warne said that and everyone went on with their lives (though I can't remember if Warne and Irani got fined then as they were the team captains and should be setting better examples)

Interesting that you put those two sentences together, Seamer!

When I heard about this, it made me chuckle - what a cry baby Chris Adams must be!!! Sussex managed to draw the game, I belive, so what has he got to complain about!! Is this an example of trying to 'get at' at big test star playing for another county team? If it is, I think Adams is kind of our of order!!

It's a bit like the fuss that's been kicked up about Peter Ebdon's 'slow play' against Ronnie O'Sullivan in the World Snooker Championship. Does no-one remember the days when the likes of Griffiths and co used to play like that ALL THE TIME?? Basically, people just don't like the fact O'Sullivan lost (although why that nutcase-thug has so many fans is beyond me!!)

Honestly, some people just need to get a life !
