Next Question... CLUE 1: I was born in London in the year 1970. CLUE 2: I made my debut against Sri Lanka at Sharjah in 1995. CLUE 3: My middle name is Oswald. CLUE 4: Though my first test match was in 1995, I have played in only 18 Tests and 44 ODIs CLUE 5: I was involved in a match-winning partnership along with a lower order batsman in the final of a major tournament. Who am I?

Easy one: I am often mentioned as one of the greatest batsmen anyone could ever have hoped to watch.. and averaged 70+ in Tests... but am completely overshadowed by someone who shares my surname and who averaged a mere 50+ in Tests.

OK, I'll set one (and I've mentioned this player before) 1) My test career lasted 10 years but I didn't play more than 15 tests 2) I share my name with one of the best bowlers of all time. In fact my name has a connection to the place where I was born and died 3) My batting average is higher than my bowling average. I actually have the second highest batting average for anyone to have scored 1000 runs 4) My last test innings was 61; I was not dropped - I dropped out of test cricket to write articles. I was 32.
