Here we go: I was born in Lancashire and I only played a handful of Tests for England... but despite doing poorly in those (I averaged 10.83 with the bat) my advocates generally maintained that given the right opportunities I could have done at least as good a job for the team as Nasser Hussain went on to do. I focussed on county cricket instead and racked up more than 20,000 1st class runs and assorted county records. Oh.. I can count Ambrose and Warne amongst the few to have ever taken my wicket in Tests :-) Last edited by Rachael : 23-05-2005 at 12:32 PM.

Nope.. but he was one I very, very nearly chose: good shout. Oh.. this is quite fun given my earlier rant: I once took a catch to help Devon Malcolm to a fairly highly prized WI wicket! Last edited by Rachael : 23-05-2005 at 12:43 PM.

Not Adams.... My wicket was taken in ODI games by Kumble and by Wasim Akram: I can name drop quite nicely considering I played so little :-) If it helps.. I once scored a century before lunch vs. Somerset.. and did captain my county to some silverware. Last edited by Rachael : 23-05-2005 at 12:52 PM.
