I'm sure most of those special effects in the 70s were leftovers from the previous week's Blue Peter.

I have to admit, I have been completly hooked on the series, even though I thought I would hate it, given how much I loved the old-style series when I was a kid!!!
Unfortunately I have only seen the one episode of Doctor Who, the one where the last darlek died and although I felt the storyline lacked possibly I really enjoyed it.

It was no surprise to me. Ever since she justified the high volume of her music at the sweet young age of 16, I knew she was going places and was bound to suceed in everything she did. She's probably the best young actress out there currently.

A big statement to make about Billie Piper. There are lots of young actresses out there. I have to say, I'm impressed. I thought she was excellent opposite James Nesbitt in The Miller's Tale about a year ago.

Billy Piper is pretty darn fit, a reason to watch it in itself, despite the fact that she can act a bit (although interesting to see her play something else rather than a blond air head )

However after swearing I wouldnt watch Doctor Who, I did, and found it rather enjoyable, probalby because of the northern connection and for the first time ever he doesnt dress like a ****.

Does this make me a nerd ????

please say it doesnt, please say it doesnt, please say it doesnt

No it doesn't, it makes you 100% sci-fi geek! Ha ha, only kidding. I think Eccleston is superb as the Doctor, but then he's a class above most of the guys who have taken the role - he's a top quality actor. Doctor Who is like a walk in the park compared to some of the roles he's taken on. Anyone see him as the Salford messiah? I can't remember the exact title of the programme. I think it was a three parter.

You know what's really bugging me now, though, is who is Bad Wolf? I mean, it appears the Dalek army were made by 'Bad Wolf' but who is it?

I was wondering if it might have been Adam, the guy they ditched back home with a big hole in his forehead. Because he was left with all that info in his brain, knew about Satallite 5 and also the Dalek.

It's KILLING me!!!

RBLC - liking Doctor Who doesn't make you a nerd, it only proves you have good taste in t.v!! Doctir Who is soooooo cool!!

The Parting of the Ways was just really, really amazing!! Dramatic, sad, funny, sweet, lots of action, super acting. Everything good television should be!!!

Bye bye Chris . Yes, you were absoulutly fantastic!!!

Poor Captin Jack got left behind all alone on that Satallite

Lots of snogging - not your average episode of Doctor Who!!!

And now no more till Christmas!!

Oh, and Rose was the 'Bad Wolf' all along, which I'm still not quite sure I get...
