I've just created a nation, The Kingdom of Lemmo! For some reason I couldn't have Lemming.

I'm going to make the country peaceful and spiritualistic. We will protect the naitonal animal, the Lemming. So far my country is described as follows:

The Kingdom of Lemmo is a tiny, devout nation, remarkable for its burgeoning lemming population. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 5 million enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

The large, corrupt government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Religion & Spirituality, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 19%. A robust private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing, Beef-Based Agriculture, and Door-to-door Insurance Sales industries.

Crime is a problem. Lemmo's national animal is the lemming and its currency is the lemmopound.


I need to sort out the crime thing! And not be corrupt!

For some reason, the UN think we are an Inoffensive Centrist Democracy. Our economy though is good, we have some political freedoms and average civil rights - sounds like the UK!*

The Incorporated States of Gold Digging is a tiny, devout nation, renowned for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed population of 5 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The enormous government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Religion & Spirituality, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 36%, but much higher for the wealthy. A substantial private sector is led by the Automobile Manufacturing industry, followed by Cheese Exports and Basket Weaving.

Crime -- especially youth-related -- is well under control, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Gold Digging's national animal is the squirrel and its currency is the Goldy.

Yikes - 36%?!?!?!? Need to get that down to 6, more like!

Not sure I like the all-pervasive police either, must be other ways to control crime!



* though many Iraqis, Afghans and others would feel that the UK is anything but inoffensive!

i too get invitations from the miriad regions. Why not all join the same region? or even create our own?

I've created a new region called world a team which you may/may not wish to join. feel free to join/change/

Click on 'the world' and then type in 'world a team' into the region box then click move (your countryname) to world a team today!

Haha, I like your style! I thought I could make a dictatorship and really treat my people terribly but went for more of a nice little coutry with nice little people who get what they deserve form the government. But there is room for change, national service it is then!!!
