The Fiefdom of Kirsten Clones - motto: "When in doubt..dig in and grind it out "

UN Category: Libertarian Police State
Civil Rights: World Benchmark
Economy: Good
Political Freedoms: Few
Location: world a team

The Fiefdom of Kirsten Clones is a tiny, socially progressive nation, notable for its absence of drug laws. Its hard-working, cynical population of 5 million are proud of their wide-ranging civil freedoms, and those who aren't tend to be dragged off the streets by men in dark suits and hustled into cars with tinted windows.

The medium-sized, liberal government juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Defence, and Law & Order. The average income tax rate is 17%. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Pizza Delivery.

Crime is a serious problem, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Kirsten Clones's national animal is the skunk, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the skull.

Hmm, this isn't entirely what I had in mind, and I'm not in favour of the high mortality or the automobile manufacturing industry

The Community of Kawnafet

"Fly high"

UN Category: Inoffensive Centrist DemocracyCivil Rights:
SomeEconomy:
GoodPolitical Freedoms:
SomeLocation: world a team

The Community of Kawnafet is a tiny, pleasant nation, notable for its compulsory military service. Its compassionate, hard-working population of 5 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Education, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 18%. A very small private sector is dominated by the Automobile Manufacturing industry.

Crime is moderate, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Kawnafet's national animal is the hawk and its currency is the kawna.

I'm about to pass legislation to bring in capital punishment! The opposite argument came from some human rights campaigner and that blew my fuse. So capital punishment it is.

Does anyone know what the UN is all about? Are we meant to join the UN?

I've applied to join the United Nations. It isn't compulary, but I think it will give us more options to consider.

People are protesting about the government wanting to build weapons. "Uingereza needs fewer weapons, not more! Make the world a safer place! Disarm now!"

Looks like the public will win this one.. for now Can't afford to build more weapons.

I'm dismissing the issue of compulsory voting, it may not say so anywhere but levels of voting in Kawnafet are not low enough to cause concern.
