I've made it the law that everyone on Lemmo is to wear no clothes at all. Just thing how much money will be saved by teenagers' parents not having to buy all that branded gear! They can spend that money on the Harry Potter books which were failed to be outlawed yesterday.

People on Lemmo are really active and so there are no ugly bodies to look at.

I'm a bit disappointed at the high youth crime though, should have ticked the national service thing. But Lemmo does have a high turn-out at the polls which is good!!!

I'm now about to bulldoze a whole rainforest to mine Uranium in order to build nuclear weapons and have nuclear power!

Can our region go to war with other regions? Or can I go to war with other countries? Probably not! I wish I could!

Ouch

Summa these issues have buggered up my country. I received one the other day that said there were underage children gambling, so I clicked on the option to stop the kids. Now gambling is outlawed!

That's alright, when I was at school there was a fat guy who gambled with people for their lunch. If he lost he would do their homework, retaining his own lunch.

On the Island of Lemmo, when it comes up, gambling will be compulsory, like nudity and calling your spouse "Darling" once a day.

'The Community of HRH Ashley Giles is a small, safe nation, notable for its devotion to social welfare. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 10 million enjoy extensive civil rights and enjoy a level of social equality free from the usual accompanying government corruption. The enormous, socially-minded government concentrates mainly on Social Welfare, although Healthcare and Education are secondary priorities. A well-funded social safety net protects the unfortunate....Crime is totally unknown'

My land is a utopia - a place were crime is unheard of and people look after each other!!! How lovely!!!! If only the real world could be more like that!!!

Following my decision to ban gambling, I have decided to leagalise euthansia.

I'm a bit worried about my econamy, though - will have to do something about it shortly....

I had a panic yesterday when I checked in to nationstates web site to find it was down for some reason... I was very worried about what was happening to my people! Fortunatly, they appear to have continued breeding rapidly in my abscence

Bring it on lemming !

I did the smae to my rain forest.

On a serious note I think you can go to war, but I fear you do it via a forum and it might well be dungeons-and-dragons-nerds-in-the-library-on-saturday-morning-dice-rolling affair - which wouldnt do at all ! I will investigate further !

I think my country is coming along well, and I've managed to get rid of the cars! Mind you, I keep dismissing at least half the issues they give me on the basis that a) it's none of the government's business or b) they don't have an option that I think my country would agree with.

The Community of Kawnafet

"Fly high, Fly free"

UN Category: Democratic Socialists

Civil Rights: Good
Economy: Fair
Political Freedoms: Some

Location: world a team
The Community of Kawnafet is a small, environmentally stunning nation, notable for its compulsory military service. Its compassionate population of 10 million are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

The large government juggles the competing demands of Public Transport, the Environment, and Social Welfare. The average income tax rate is 28%, but much higher for the wealthy. A nonexistent private sector is dominated by the Gambling industry.

Cars are banned, the hawk is a protected species, and euthanasia is legal. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is relatively low. Kawnafet's national animal is the hawk, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the kawna.

Kawnafet is ranked 9th in the region and 75,486th in the world for Largest Defense Forces (per capita).
