No real point, just doing a couple of things, solving a few issues and making your country a good one in whichever way you consider is good. BTW, move your country to the region known as world a team.

Kawnafet Update

Quote:
The Community of Kawnafet

"Fly high, Fly free"

UN Category: Democratic Socialists

Civil Rights: Very Good
Economy: Reasonable
Political Freedoms: Very Good

Location: world a team

The Community of Kawnafet is a very large, environmentally stunning nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service. Its compassionate population of 82 million are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

The government -- a sprawling, bureaucracy-choked morass -- juggles the competing demands of the Environment, Public Transport, and Education. The average income tax rate is 42%, but much higher for the wealthy. An almost nonexistent private sector is dominated by the Gambling industry.

Max Barry is this year's Miss Kawnafet, voting has become a nightmare since everyone keeps selecting "None of the above", the Kawnafet Mental Asylum Party have recently won seats in parliament, and retirement homes are often fitted with luxurious suites. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is well under control. Kawnafet's national animal is the hawk, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the kawna.

Kawnafet is ranked 11th in the region and 48,364th in the world for Largest Gambling Industries.
Some of the decisions you make on here have very strange results!

Just started this for the first time. Don't know where I'm going with this or what I do but this is what I have to start with.

The Republic of Steven Wild is a tiny, environmentally stunning nation, notable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 5 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The enormous government devotes most of its attentions to Law & Order, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Social Welfare receiving almost no funds by comparison. The average income tax rate is 29%. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Door-to-door Insurance Sales.

Crime is moderate. Steven Wild's national animal is the monkey, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the wild.

Not too many issues, and it hasn't gone to the dogs. Was amused to see this:
