Unfortunately he retired aged 30!!!
He is only 25 at the moment so hopefully 5 more run filled seasons! Just about to take on the Windies in the ODI's.

Just lost 3-2 in the ODI's to Windies. Despite going 1-0 and 2-1 up. Definite improvement though. Ewing was man of the match and got a century in both my victories.

39th Gavin Ewing (344)
42nd Heath Streak (328)

Just lost 1-0 in the Test series against South Africa, Murray Goodwin's series record of 28, 230no, 79 and 75 mean that he is now rated as the number one batsman in Test cricket, by a long way. I drew the first test thanks to a magnificent 2nd innings of 578-5 after only scoring 198 in the first innings. Top scorer in the first innings was Strydom who was in for Neil Johnson. South Africa piled on the runs getting to 503-4 declared before my mammoth final innings. In the Test I again batted first, scoring 217 (Goodwin 79 & Marillier 71), South Africa then got 504-4 declared before I was bowled out for 316 (goodwin 75, Strydom 59 & Johnson 50). Soth Africa won by getting 30-0. Over the two tests I only got 8 wickets for 1037 runs so it is obvious where my poblem is. South Africa are rated 2nd in the world though.

Phantom, do you use practice for your bowlers and batsman.

If so, work on the technique of guys like Rainsford and Hondo. Occasionally I was able to skittle batting attacks with those guys. Just keep giving Streak a heap of practice and make sure you give him physio sessions as well.

Yes I always give my 6 bowlers 'bowling practice' and my two openers 'batting' to give me a good start. I have noticed that Streak needs regular physio-ing.

I don't get this game. My best batsman is Hussey, and not the one you know from the recent Aussie one day team.
