Internet Cricket Games

Does anyone know of any good online cricket games on the internet?

I've just been playing Stick Cricket and I'm not very good at it, the spinners are too hard to play. I want a better game to waste my time on, are there any that anyone like playing?

I'm an exceptional talent at stick cricket, World Domination is my forte. I'm up to Australia but haven't beena ble to crack that cookie as of yet.

Currently, I'm downloading a trial version of International Cricket Captain 2005, which is a full version that lasts for a day. Apparently there are hacks which keep it going longer.......

Where is the download from? I'm sure you won't be using the hack otherwise that would make you a naughty boy!

I've been playing this all day! It's really good, but I loved the original International Cricket Captain.

I've taken England to the brink of world domination, they have won the Ashes twice, 2-1 and 4-0 (including chasing 495 to win a test, only losing 3 wickets in the process). My bowlers have not been too good, only Hoggard really living up to the real thing. Harmison, Jones, Flintoff and Jimmy Anderson have been disappointing, all averaging in the 30's.

It's the batting that has been good. At one point the top six batsmen in the world were all English (not in order, Strauss, Vaughan, Butcher, Trescothick, Pietersen and Thorpe). Strauss averages over 60 after 1,800 runs in a calender year, Vaughan over 50, Thorpe, Tresco and KP over 45 and Butcher over 40. Flintoff only scored 1 century in 2 years and only averages early 30's, Matt Prior had 2 centuries before being dropped. Vaughan has 22 100's, Tresco and Butcher 17, Thorpe 18 and Strauss 12.

Giles, at one point reached number 3 in the bowler ratings, and was simultaneoulsy 8th in both batsmen and bowler ratings at another juncture. What a man! What a man!

The only problem now is that the game only has a 24 hours playing time!

How many seasons have you played?
Did you start with England?
Can you play domestic cricket in more than just England?
Would you be able to download it again for another 24hrs play?

When does the game come out?

I started with Hampshire and England, but soon my attention was only on England. Unfortuantely Hampshire crashed and burnt. How sad! You can, I think, play with any international side.

Didn't try, but I don't think so.

I think it would need to be reinstalled!

It aint 24 hours Lemm; it's one calendar day! So yours will expire in about half an hour.

I played an Ashes with England and was down 2-1 after the fourth test when I called it quits. Freddie made 218 opening the batting and Geraint Jones 165 at No.3. After making 606, I bowled Australia out for 102, Harmison 7-22. Then, I got them all out for 495 with 2 overs to spare on the last day!!!

Good game, I might "download" it again to get more use.

Played loads more ICC 2005. My average usual England team is now:

Strauss
Trescothick
Thorpe
*Vaughan
Flintoff
Pietersen
Bell
+Prior
Mark Davies
Anderson
Hoggard

Bowlng is still rubbish, but there is a massive load on the four seamers. Vaughan chips in with some occasionally excellent off-spin, he now has 30 test hundreds and 8,500 runs.

Thorpe is 39 and is 150 runs from 10,000 test runs. He has about 22 100's and I'm hoping I can get another 2-3 years out of him. Flintoff has risen to the uppermost echelons of world batting with 7 centuries and 1,500 runs in 2009, although he averages 42 with the ball. For a while Tresco (24ish centuries and 8,000 runs) was keeper and that worked, having eight top order batsmen.

Butcher was class for a few years but retired at the top, Pietersen averages high 40's and has 12 centuries. Bell's highest score is 87.

I've not lost a series for about three years and am easily at the top of the world game. ODI's are a slightly different story, England are about 7th in the world, but I'm not bothered about that.

I hate ODI's too. Vaughan scores so slowly and when I put them into aggressive mode they lose wickets fairly regularly.
