Would it be the moderately talented, and perhaps even South African Kolpaker, "Pants" Du Toit?

Yes it would indeed, thanks Polio. His two most interesting contributions to the friendly banter on the way to away games were:-

"D'you know, I had sex last night - I would have had it twice, except my girlfriend was sick all over my room!"

followed in the same breath by "D'you know, there are at least 8 flavours of Fanta and they are all well nice"

.... I can assure you that he is in the team for his batting and not his sartorial wit.

Its a windy day at Chertsey. Collyisamackem's umpiring coat is flapping in the breeze, showing his short-shorts underneath. It really is too cold a day to be wearing shorts and sandals, Colly. Colly passes Oliver the New Ball. Du Toit asks for a middle-and-leg guard which Colly helpfully tells him. Oliver marks his run out. Colly gestures to the scorers. The field is set. Oliver starts his run up...

The 1st XI completed a hitout against the Northern Territory in a 50 over a side contest.

A massive flanflinger six off the last ball salvaged a tie, yes, a tie!

NT made 229/8 in their innings.

Bowling figures:

Beny (Right arm Fast): 1/51 off 10 overs
Flanflinger (Right arm Fast Medium): 2/56 off 10 overs
Ernest (Off Spin): 1/46 off 10 overs
Paoli (Off Spin): 2/28 off 10 overs
Kirsty Harris (Left arm Medium Fast): 2/48 off 10 overs

Paoli was the pick of the bowlers in that innings

However, he wasn't so fortunate with the bat in hand. A blugeoning cover drive for four first ball, and the second ball was guided straight into the keepers gloves.

Batting contributions (Notable ones anyway...)

Occasional Fan, 61 off 95. Ern was pulling his hair out in the dressing room thinking we'd never reach the total.
RBLC, 42 off 44. Ern breathed a sigh of relief when he got going.
Zainub, 25 off 14. Shahid Afridi like knock from the Pakistani.
Rachael, 23 off 39. Started the innings very well, but unfortunately received a dubious LBW decision.
flanflinger, 8 not out off 3 balls. Massive six over backward point to tie the game.

The Darwin sun was enjoyed by all and we are going back to England to take on Minor Counties and the students.

I'm especially impressed by my bowling skills given that normally I'm a leftie!!

I didn't know this was happening...

I don't know about others, but I'm short of match practice.
