Tut, tut RBLC - you really shouldn't be going to work. 'Cough's and sneezes spread diseases' and all that!

Anway, I have another suggestion for you to try: Twinings do a ginger and lemon herbal tea, if you add to couple of tea spoons of honey (pure) to it, that should help a bit. Plus it tastes (relatively) nice (for herbal tea). It really makes me feel better plus the ingredents ahould help build up your resistance to the infection.

Dude, its flu. Nothing the doctor can supply can cure me, and all I'd be doing is being sat inj waiting room getting a different strain of flu.

Kirsty there only 3-4 of us in the office, and they gave it me- only much worse ! I have nothing to feel guilty about. I've tried that twinings green tea and it was rancid- even with my knackered taste buds. One top tip, potter cough medicine come recomended - that tastes awful AND has lumps in but considering its a herbal thing it aint bad. Cough is now the worst thing now, but as I havent got green flem I know it isnt a chest infection (that would mean a doctors visit or pneumonia)
