| Bumble Appreciation Society God, I never realised how much I loved Bumble. His commentary is just so refreshing, makes me forget about things, and cheer up again. How many people were tuned in when he displayed his Urdu speaking skills? That was seriously so funny. |

| Sadly I wasn't as I was at school of all places. Or in bed depending when he said it

| His 20 Twenty commentary is second to none. Here's what he said in Urdu, or tried to: aik doodh cheeni wali garam chai (which means "a hot tea with sugar and milk) he also tried saying ap apne seet belt bandh leein (please tie your seat belts) but he didn't pronounce 'bandh lein' (please tie) any way near as it should have been so it ended up sounding like turkish then urdu! Beefy's having a shoker behind the microphones - Paul Allot is only marginally better. The best times are when Sanjay and Bumble are together, Ramiz is ok - but time and again you have to resort to seeng his hair which makes me go a bit AWOL. Otherwise there's Waqar, who is ok too, but lacks a personal style as yet. Probably will get that by experience. Last edited by Zainub : 14-11-2005 at 06:27 PM. |

| Insightful he rarely is as you say, but the whole breed of insightful commentators is rare. Ramiz knows his facts, but one criticism I have of him is that too often he uses the same phrases to describe entirely different situations - his vocab needs to expand from 'positive cricket', 'negative cricket', 'attacking cricket, 'defensive cricket' to something more appealing, more wide spread. He also has a tendency to be repetitive at times. And obviously a hair cut wouldn't be a bad idea either. |

| Geoffrey Boycott has some fair variety, the favs. being "proper cricket" and "rubbish"

| Alas, Geoff isn't exactly my cup of tea either. |
