| I have always been a better bowler than a batsmen simply because i get more recginition from my bowling because it is fast and some what dangerous because i have the tendency to bowl beamers. I was captain for my school cricket team last season, opening both the batting and bowling. The first game i played in the season i cracked 32 from 9 overs and took 3 wickets from 5 overs, i was lucky enough to bowl that day when i accidently bowled 2 consecetive beamers at the poor batsmen which stood at something like 5 ft 9.

| I'm officially a quickish leg-spin bowler, slightly unorthodox...having said that, my batting can be good at times (highest score of 47). So aspiring all-rounder I suppose...though last season wasn't too good, with a HS of 30 and only a handful of wickets. I blame the captaincy resting on my shoulders! I know how Vaughan must feel... |

| I guess I would be considered a batsman despite my monicker. I used to be a reasonable slogger or should the situation require it an obdurate blocker. Sadly I've never really been able to combine the two into a proper innings, it's one or the other. Anything overpitched will get smeared through mid off which is probably my best shot. Generally my downfall is caused by shorter pitched bowling which I routinely hit straight up into the air. My left arm medium pace is at best pathetic and at worst an affront to the word bowling. Haven't played in a few years since I busted my ankle so I fear my chances of being picked for Ireland are fading even at just 21. |

| I started off as a medium pace first change bowler for both school and junior level national cricket! During that time i was a middle order bat as well! But during the last 3 years i have worked hard on my batting an earned a place in the 4 postion of the team after a few good knocks. having improved my batting i slipped down in my bowling department a bit ...lost my speed a fair amount and now im more of a part time bowler. My way of batting is to "hold the fort" ..stay at the crease and collect the ones and twos and the odd boundry slowly piling up the runs! My weak links are Leg-break deliveries.. although i have improved alot in playing leg breaks! |

| I'm a medium pacer, my bowling was great last season, leading wicket taker for our team, but this season it hasnt been as good but my batting has improved, made 42 a few weeks ago which is now my highest score.

| I finished last season with thirty-odd wickets at 17 and a few hundred runs at just above 17, so I can officially be called an all-rounder! Two five fors included in that lot - actually a 7-46 and a 6-42 - and a fifty. Not a bad season. I tend to bat in the middle order and either open the bowling with big in-swingers or come on first change. Being 6'4" helps to get a lot of extra bounce too! Also means I'm far better on the front foot when batting. |
