| Interesting there NE- have you ever followed Notts County and if so have you heard of Danny Allsopp who left to come to Australia, where is the worst striker around at Melbourne Victory. I hate him, misses so many open goals! Would you be a fan of Luca Toni then? Incredible player, but I have a feeling he'll be the next Cristiano Doni- great for two seasons, then fades right away. I hope not, as he is as vital as Alessandro Nesta to Italy's chances at the World Cup. Australia then Italy are my sides. On the topic of Serie A, my mums' cousin is a chap by the name of Massimo Oddo, who plays Right Back for Lazio and Italy. His dad was my grandfathers only brother who stayed in Italy, otherwise one M.Oddo would be in the Australian lineup. Where I'd love to go is the Westfalstadion in Dortmund, to see my beloved Borussia play, either against Schalke 04, their rivals, or Bayern Munich. Crouch isn't a good player nor is he England material. Though, the golden goal days were made for Crouch. Back in those days, players would do nothing all day and then produce Tony Yeboah like magic to send it to the back of the net and into the history books. |

The Westfalenstadion is one of those grounds I've always wanted to go to, the atmosphere must be awesome. I've been to the AOL Arena in Hamburg which was excellent - good to see HSV doing well this season too. The Olmpicstadion in Munich was horrible but I'd love to go to the new Allianz Arena, and the Arena auf Schalke - they've put together an entertaining team in Gelsenkirchen. |

| The German grounds are brilliant actually, and I'm going to at least two weeks of the World Cup next year as part of a European trip with a whole group of family members...but, as I said, I'd love to see Dortmund play there and hope that we are in Germany to perhaps catch the last home match of the year. Hopefully anyway. We're in Europe from May anyhow, so I guess i could make a quick run to Germany as someone with us would be interested. Yes, last time I was in Italy, 2002, Oddo gave us tickets to Hellas Verona vs. Chievo Verona- the local derby. Very small grounds in Verona, which, dare I say, is more known for Romeo and Juliet than its football. Crowds are about 15,000 for the local derby. As for Allsopp, don't know how he scored so many goals for them as you'd expect the old third and fourth divisions to be better than an Australian League wouldn't you? |

| Ah, I love it when I'm right.. Crouch has another amazing game and we see at last a goal, a clever little chip... Well done! |

| Yes he's scored...but when you pay 7 mil for a striker, you'd want it to be more than one. Though his work will be cut out after christmas as Cisse has been 'insulted' by starting on the bench. |

Remember that Chievo used to be a pub team! The Flying Donkeys have done brilliantly to get to where they are and even better to stay there. They're not well supported though, they could only attract 22000 for the game against Milan on Saturday which they won 2-1. Incidentally, have you read A Season With Verona by Tim Parks? Very good account of an entire season following Hellas when they were last in SerieA. |

| I actually saw it at Chievo's ground! Hence the small crowd. No I haven't read it, will do though! But when I look through ESPN Soccernet's Bundesliga coverage it is amazing how big Dortmund's crowds still are. 82,000 most weeks. Amazing. Added to that, the player whom I consider to be in the best three in the Bundesliga, Tomas Rosicky, is on show every week. Great player. |
