The domestic competition hasn't kicked off as yet, but again his successes have been mixed even at this level. To be honest, the New Zealand domestic competition is a bit of a mess, with very little following.

bond is rolling his arm over at the academy under various pairs of watching eyes and has started playing for his club as a batsman only (?!)

apparently if he doesn't come right this time he'll quit the game for good

It would be terrible if he quit for good. Bond isn't really that bad a batsman !
I've seen him slog a few, against India and South Africa, I really hope he makes his way back into international cricket.

Chris Cairns would have to be my Fav overall. In the recent squad I would have to say Oram. He has really impressed me greatly.

How come nobody has chosen dan vettori, he has been our best spin bowler by miles in this country for just on 10 years now and he can also bat with a test hundred to his name against pakistan. Also i like McCullum Just becase we havnt had a reliable keeper since parore retired and he has put his gloves up to take the job for many years to come and hes no slouch with the bat either

I agree, Dan Vettori is an integral part of the team now. He should have been awarded man of the match for his spell against the Aussies in the first ODI.

Chris Cairns, closely followed by Martin Crowe and Sir Richard Hadlee. Didn't see much of Richard Hadlee, but he was a fantastic bolwer by all accounts. Martin Crowe was just a superb batsman. His heroics in the '92 WC are well documented.

But Chris Cairns is my most favourite. Players of his genre are rare and he was one of the best at that. In all the three departments, he excelled. Also has a good big game temperament. To add to it the flamboyance. Amazing.
