Favourite ever NZ player is a tie for me between Hadlee, Cairns and Steve Fleming.

although i lived in aussie for 17 and a half years (21 now) i never really seen hadlee but his record says everything still the second quikest to 400 hundred test wickets he would be my favorite along with the man they call cairns hopefully shane bond can get fit and restart a good career he scares the aussie batsman and thats what we need

The player i most LOVED TO HATE was Hadlee - i mean that in a good way though. The player i most respect is Stephen Fleming, probably the finest captain in the world at the moment. Without him, NZ would struggle to be competitive.

yes nz would struggle without fleming he is our best batsman in both forms of the game and i think is still strategically the best captain in the world

He is the only player with geniune class i feel. Vettori and Oram aren't bad, but Flem is the only real shining star.
